Our esthetics students begin by learning 150 hours of introductory material.

The program gets hands-on fast: the student spa is where students familiarize themselves with the procedures and practices of a skincare specialist. You’ll soon be practicing your newfound skills in the student spa, performing services with the support and guidance of your instructors.

Our dedicated instructors at Aveda Institute – Boise and Aveda Institute – Twin Falls help and supervise students every step of the way, providing professional feedback as you fine-tune your skills. The modern spa areas at our beauty school are designed to accommodate both student learning and excellent client service.

As you practice performing skincare treatments and other esthetics services on the spa floor, you will also begin building your own book of business. We encourage students to develop client relationships and extend the relationship beyond the walls of our esthetics school after graduation. This is an important aspect of career development as students build out their resume and jumpstart a new esthetician career.

If you want to run your own business, an education at our esthetics school may help on your journey. Aveda Institutes in Twin Falls and Boise include business training alongside the skincare curriculum. Understanding the business of beauty can be just as important as knowing how to perform skincare treatments. The owner of our beauty school lends his business and practitioner expertise throughout the esthetics curriculum, where you’ll learn critical skills like effective networking, business strategy, and more.
