What to Expect in Our Nail Tech Program

At Aveda Institutes, we firmly believe that learning happens by doing. From day one, you’ll be preparing to hone your skills in our student salon, under the direct guidance of licensed nail instructors.

Our 400- and 600-hour Nail Technology programs cover everything from manicures and pedicures to nail art and design. You’ll learn through lectures, seminars, and guest artist sessions that bring fresh perspectives into the classroom. And as an Aveda school, everything you learn is grounded in an eco-conscious approach to beauty.

Your learning experience goes beyond the salon floor. Our students have opportunities to connect with local beauty professionals, visit industry employers, and build the network they’ll need to launch their careers.

Our student nail salon is where everything clicks. You’ll move from classroom to real clients quickly, with professional brands like Gelish and Morgan Taylor in your hands.

As you build your skills, you’re also building your future. Our team will guide you to build your portfolio and client base with every new service you complete in the student salon. By graduation, you’ll leave with hands-on experience, your own book of business, and work to show for it. In a school led by beauty practitioners who know the industry, we’ve designed nail tech training that prepares you for the real world — not just the licensing exam.
