Bring Water to The World With Aveda
Each April, Aveda celebrates Earth month by raising millions of dollars to help support water conservation efforts and bring clean water to areas that otherwise wouldn’t have access to it. As we have for the past few years, Aveda is working with Global Greengrants Fund to help create wells and easier water access for women and families around the world.
The Aveda Company has the goal to raise more than 6 millions dollars towards this cause this year alone, giving us the opportunity to help conserve and bring water resources to not only the people in Madagascar but in dry zones worldwide.
If you want to participate in this global initiative there are many different ways you can join the cause and raise money for water, some are as easy as booking an appointment at your nearest Aveda salon.
Support For Conservation
-
Light The Way
Each year Aveda releases a new, limited edition candle, the proceeds of which go directly to Global Greengrants, as they work directly with Aveda in their conservation efforts. This years scent features hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and ylang ylang – all harvested directly from Madagascar to support the people there further. -
Refresh Yourself
Each April, Aveda salons across the country donate their time, and a portion of their proceeds directly to Global Greengrants and Aveda to create waves of change. Contact your local Aveda Salon to find out when their donation day is scheduled and get your appointment booked.
-
Commit Yourself
More than just buying a candle and getting a haircut, there are volunteer opportunities and fundraisers that you can take part in to help the cause stretch further. On April 14th, the Trash to Fashion catwalk show will be taking place, with 100% of the proceeds going to Aveda’s efforts. -
Make Waves
In each state across the country Aveda has partnered with water conservation organizations to help further their reach and bring healthy water habits close to home. In Idaho they have, once again, partnered with Idaho Rivers United who is committed to restore the rivers of Idaho after poor farming practices and energy efforts have left many bone dry.
Aveda’s earth month is in full swing. Don’t miss out on your chance to participate in these amazing efforts, and contribute to this wonderful cause. Contact your local Aveda Salon, or The Aveda Institutes in Boise and Twin Falls to find out how you can participate.
