At Aveda Institute Boise, we think that giving back to our local community is the best way to help our community thrive. Doing volunteer and charity work always makes us feel better, so we like to encourage our students and neighbors to go out and do as much as they can for everyone around them. We also offer our students the opportunity to give back during school with volunteer options and participation in fun activities like cut-a-thons.
Come join us for our Cut-A-Thon TODAY! All proceeds are going to Idaho Rivers United for Earth Month. We're taking appointments from 11 AM to 6 PM. Walk-ins are welcome. Donations start at $12. Cut your hair for a good cause!! "Our mission at Aveda is to care for the world we live in, from the products we make to the ways in which we give back to society." Today these girls spent 15+ hours between traveling to Ketchum, ID and volunteering for Camp Rainbow Gold! If you're unaware of what CRG is, it's a summer camp for youths that either currently have or have had various types of cancer. We helped paint faces, did hair/makeup, and showed them the Aveda Rituals. The light these kids brought to us was so amazing, and they were all so thankful for the experience. We can't wait to go back next year! . . . #camprainbowgold #aveda #avedainstitute #avedainstituteboise #volunteering
